Story Barn: Happily Ever After?
Thursday, November 18
Doors open at 7:00 pm. Program begins at 7:30 pm
Henny Youngman once said, “The secret of a happy marriage remains a secret.” A talented group of storytellers will regale you with their own not-so-secret musings on weddings and marriage.
Story Barn is a contemporary approach to oral tradition inspired by Themoth.org, a New York organization dedicated to “celebrating the ability of stories to honor the diversity and commonality of human experience.” Each storyteller will relate their own “no-holds-barred,” five-minute tale about the most “cherished” institution. (Held in conjunction with the exhibition From This Day Forward: Looking Back at Greenwich Weddings)
