Children's Programs

Programs for children are designed to engage their sense of discovery through first hand experiences with art and history. Programs include our Artist-in-Residence Afterschool Program, Summer Camps, and Vacation Workshops.

Afterschool Program

In the Artist-in-Residence Afterschool Program, students work with professional artists to explore the artistic process. Students learn about the artists of the Cos Cob art colony and create artwork of their own. An exhibition of student art work is the culmination of the program.

One-Day Workshops

Designed to help Girl Scout troops work toward specific badge requirements. For more information, call 203-552-5329 ext. 4.

The Artist-in-Residence Afterschool Program is funded with support from the Connecticut Commission on Culture & Tourism and a gift from Mr. & Mrs. Roy B. Simpson.
